The Volkswagen Atlas for 2023 offers a choice of two engines. The turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder gives you 235 horsepower. The 3.6-liter V6 transports your family with 276 horsepower. The 2023 VW Atlas has been timed in the zero-to-60 run at about 8.5 seconds, regardless of which engine you choose.
2023 Atlas Towing capacity
The latest edition of the VW Atlas can tow up to 5,000 pounds when it's equipped with a V6 engine and the VW towing package. With a V6 without the towing package - or with any four-cylinder model - maximum towing is 2,000 pounds.

The new Volkswagen Atlas with the four-cylinder engine gives your family an EPA-estimated 21 MPG on city streets and 25 MPG on highways around Melville and Commack, NY. A 6.5-inch touch screen comes standard along with Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™ and a six-speaker stereo. Other standard features include an 8-inch digital gauge cluster, push-button start and keyless entry. An 8-inch touchscreen is available and so is wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. Other available options include tri-zone automatic climate control, wireless device charging, a panoramic sunroof and a 12-speaker stereo.
