What Is New for 2023?

Except the SE, all 2023 models will get a 10.25-inch Volkswagen Cockpit Pro digital instrument cluster. This comes as standard equipment. Volkswagen also refreshed the Atlas recently, giving it an advanced infotainment system.

What Does Each Atlas Trim Offer?

SE

The SE is now the entry-level trim. It comes standard with a front-wheel drive or optional all-wheel drive for taking on winter drives around Commack. Outside, the model offers LED headlights, power liftgate, heated exterior mirrors and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the three-row SUV offers a comfortable cabin with a host of luxurious features. You will get simulated leather upholstery, heated front seats, power-adjustable driver's seat, a 6.5-inch touchscreen display, two USB-C ports, Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™ and Wi-Fi hotspot among others. You will also get safety features, such as blind-spot monitoring, forward collision mitigation and rear-traffic alert.

You can add the Technology Package to get features like 20-inch wheels, remote engine start, an 8-inch touchscreen display, voice controls, wireless charging pad and adaptive cruise control among others.

The Atlas SE comes standard with Volkswagen's 4MOTION® 2.0-liter Turbo engine, which is paired with an eight-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission. This powertrain can provide East Northport drivers with up to 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque.

SEL

The SEL comes with the SE's features, including the Technology Package, as standard. It also offers standard all-wheel drive, ambient interior lighting, drive mode selector, adaptive headlights, heated steering wheel, power-adjustable passenger seat and lane keeping assist system among others. If you opt for the 3.6-liter V6 engine, you will enjoy as much as 276 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque.

SEL R-Line Black

This model comes with the V6 engine standard. This model has the same features as the SEL, but adds some cosmetic features. Melville buyers will get 20-inch gloss black wheels, black mirror caps, black grille, black badges and R-Line-specific interior appearance. If you need an SEL that looks unique, you can go for the SEL-R.

SEL Premium R-Line

The SEL Premium R-Line is the most luxurious and feature-packed Atlas. The model offers 21-inch wheels, leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, automatic parking system, 12-Speaker Fender premium audio system and 360-degree camera.
