Had Atlas in for service. I brought in my own Pirelli tires as specific model I wanted and VW did not carry, nor would get. Upon leaving the service area, the tire alarm went off. With the Service Dept closed, I drove home but felt the car improperly handling. Upon return got a gauge and saw that EACH tire pressure was on 20, not the recommended value! This could have easily caused failure to stop accurately. I brought the car over to a service station. The day was now completely dark. Upon filling the valves, the station attendant moved my car and scratched the side of my IMMACULATE vehicle. The next day I informed VW what had taken place, and because scratches did not take place at VW was informed no compensation will be made. VERY frustrated that my car has scratch the first in 8 years! If the tire pressures had been completed this would have been avoided! Disappointed VW claims not accountability for this incident!! Also, since install of tires driving on open road, car does not feel properly aligned. Ive only taken this car to the location of purchase for all updates, etc. and will not return when I turn over this car. (Coincidently, while in service, I inquired about a trade-in, the salesman laughed as I was open to a new Atlas or something smaller. He talked me out of the purchase as he stated I didnt know what I wanted- dont think laughing at a viable customer makes $ sense. Additionally curious is that I bring my car into the facility always as requested by VW so they are very familiar with the quality of my former immaculate car. Salesman made bid deal over getting photos, etc and speaking with who knows who...And btw, the service team has never fixed the back seat handle which was never securely on the chair since the car was born. I asked many times under warranty and still at last visit, not fixed. If I can spend my money anywhere I want, I want to be heard and experience joy.
